Lauren is an illustrator, graphic designer, artist and educator. Based from her home studio in Adelaide, South Australia, Lauren spends her time illustrating children's books, exploring the natural world and developing courses in art, drawing fundamentals and environment design.

Lauren has illustrated a number of children's books, with her latest book 'Birdie Lights up the World' scheduled for release in June 2023. With a background in advertising, marketing and graphic design, she has developed graphics for a number of educational publications, programmed marketing campaigns and contributed to a number of commercial projects.

She loves visiting schools and running illustration workshops, where children have a hands on experience creating their own designs and characters. Her free online workshops 'Curious Creatures' are validated Learning Activities for the Children's University.

Lauren is currently the Regional Coordinator, South Australia for SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators), a member of  Adelaide Illustrators and CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) and is the current Program Manager for Writers SA.
